By empowering children with tools to responsibly take care of their natural environment, Ania seeks to raise social awareness of climate change and sustainable communities from an early age. Ania develops partnerships with families, schools and government to ensure that land can be set aside for the permanent care and cultivation by children. At the same time, Ania creates safe spaces where children can grow with the liberty to learn about artistic expression, sustainable management of resources, crop raising, family importance, recycling, among others. Ania is a truly interdisciplinary project that seeks to include as many actors and community themes in order to build sustainable communities.

  • Help Peru has financially contributed towards the implementation of the “Padre Cocha” and “Puerto Prado” projects which consist of 13 hectares of forest in the Peruvian northern jungle (Iquitos). The project will directly benefit 60 children and their communities.
