Help Peru is advised by leaders in the philanthropy world that support Help Peru by providing their advice and expertise.
Alvaro Henzler is a Researcher at Harvard’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, partner at tras100d consultoria and founder of INcuba social lab. He is the Co-Founder and former CEO of EnseñaPerú and Grupo Convergencia. He has also been advisor to the Peruvian Ambassador in the United States, Vice-Minister in the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion in Peru and Dean of Universidad del Pacífico. Alvaro currently sits in the advisory boards of Patronato BCP, Help Peru, Los Andes Cajamarca, Lima’s Philharmonic Society and has formerly been in the advisory boards of Yaqua and Ayuda en Acción. Alvaro received a MC in Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University.
Back in March 2015, Alvaro Henzler and members of the INcuba team provided Help Peru with a review of a number of charities it was considering donating to. More recently, Help Peru is supporting Alvaro in a study that will review Peru's social ecosystem with a view to make recommendations as to how it could be improved and lead to more philanthropic work in the country.
